Mandatory Embassy Visa Fees
In addition to our service fees, all Schengen embassies charge a mandatory visa fee. The standard fee is €90 (approx. £78) for adults and €45 (approx. £39) for children aged 6–12 (free for children under 6). This is paid directly to the embassy visa application center (VFS/TLS) at your biometrics appointment.

Typically around 15 calendar days after your biometrics date, but embassies get busy — especially May to August. We recommend starting 6-8 weeks before travel.
What if my visa is refused?

What happens at my biometrics appointment?
